We were blessed with moments of respite from the Makuru rains, allowing us to revel in the merriment of a mud stomp and warm our spirits by the bonfire with a comforting cup of hot chocolate.
It was a day that epitomised the essence of our community, and we hope it was filled with camaraderie, connection, and the sheer fun that Mud Day is all about.
I met a personal challenge by experiencing my first muddy slide and quite literally sat in my uncomfortable moment, sloshing into the pit. Sharing an experience like this day with others and feeling their joy resulted in a positive wave that rippled throughout the event.
Organising such a significant event is no small feat, and it stands as a testament to the power of collaboration—a value that is quintessentially ‘us’. The joyous scenes of play and laughter within our School grounds are a vivid demonstration of how education can be both enjoyable and enriching.
