Book a tourThis event serves as a poignant reminder of our School’s roots and our responsibilities. It underscores the importance of living in harmony with our planet and upholding the values we cherish:- dynamism, uniqueness, resourcefulness, resilience, joy, an ethic of excellence, community, creativity, and respect for others.
We were blessed with moments of respite from the Makuru rains, allowing us to revel in the merriment of a mud stomp and warm our spirits by the bonfire with a comforting cup of hot chocolate.
It was a day that epitomised the essence of our community, and we hope it was filled with camaraderie, connection, and the sheer fun that Mud Day is all about.
I met a personal challenge by experiencing my first muddy slide and quite literally sat in my uncomfortable moment, sloshing into the pit. Sharing an experience like this day with others and feeling their joy resulted in a positive wave that rippled throughout the event.
Organising such a significant event is no small feat, and it stands as a testament to the power of collaboration—a value that is quintessentially ‘us’. The joyous scenes of play and laughter within our School grounds are a vivid demonstration of how education can be both enjoyable and enriching.
The delight reflected in the faces of our children is a treasure that fills our hearts to the brim, just as we hope it does yours.
These memories are not merely fleeting moments; they are integral chapters in the stories of their lives, and we are privileged to be co-authors of these tales.
Our appreciation extends to Midland Brick, Growers Lane, and Dimattina for their generous contributions, and to our wonderful soup makers whose donated time and ingredients crafted the delicious soups and toasties.
Those who supported our fundraiser by purchasing these treats, your contributions have directly aided our friends at the Panchkhal Orphanage in Nepal.
Your participation, braving the chill and damp, reflects a commitment to nurturing a connection with nature, supporting others, and uniting joy with education within the extraordinary community that is Bold Park.
Looking forward to many more Mud Days, we invite you to relive the highlights through the photos we’ve shared. And, to aid us in making future Mud Days even more memorable, please spare a few moments to complete our post-event survey
With Gratitude,
