Our Newly Renovated Early Learning Centre is Now Open

We are thrilled to announce the completion of extensive renovations to our Early Learning Centre (ELC), bringing forth a fresh and vibrant space for our youngest learners. The transformation is nothing short of remarkable, with a full internal renovation that promises to enhance the learning environment for our children.

In early January, we proudly shared the news with our Early Childhood families and staff – we have successfully secured our Service Approval, granting us full permission to operate our Early Learning Centre. This approval includes wrap-around care and holiday program services tailored for our 3 and 4 year olds, marking a significant milestone for the future of our School operations.

This means we now operate Short Day and Long Day hours, providing service from 7.30am to 6pm, for Pre-Kindy and Kindergarten children. Our Playgroup continues to be available on Friday and Saturday mornings for children aged 18months to 3 years.

The journey to achieving Service Approval has been a collaborative effort, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sue Phillips, our ELC Team Leader, for her dedication and hard work throughout the Christmas period. Sue’s leadership in preparing the spaces, managing policies, and nurturing the vision for the ELC project has been instrumental in this achievement. We also commend Gabbi Lovelady for her invaluable partnership in steering the transition process throughout 2023.

Special thanks are also due to Sue Wyatt, our Business Manager, and Nicole Hunter, our Pedagogista, for their unwavering support and contributions throughout the year. Together, they have played pivotal roles in shaping the future of our ELC.

While the journey may have had its challenges, we are immensely grateful to work alongside such an exceptional and visionary team. The dedication and passion exhibited by Sue P and our ELC team have been nothing short of inspiring, and we are excited to embark on this new chapter for our youngest learners at Bold Park Community School.
