Introducing Maylands’ Lo-Fi Larder

Get ready to indulge your taste buds and ignite your mornings with our new culinary venture: the Lo-Fi Larder at Maylands campus! Here at Bold Park Community School, we’re always looking for innovative ways to invest back into our students, and what better way to do so than by offering a FREE delicious and nutritious breakfast to kickstart their day?

We are thrilled to welcome Rosa, the culinary maestro behind the Wild Kitchen Café at Wembley campus, joining our Maylands campus every Monday and Friday morning. With her expertise and passion for cooking, Rosa will be working closely with our students to transform the kitchen into a student-run facility, where the Lo-Fi Larder will proudly offer FREE breakfast to all current students.

But that’s not all – we’re taking this opportunity to empower our students further by appointing Niamh Hammill and Emily Selliani as the Student Co-Managers of the Lo-Fi Larder. With their creativity, leadership, and dedication, Niamh and Emily will play pivotal roles in shaping the culinary experience at our school and fostering a sense of ownership among their peers.

Lo-Fi Larder officially opens Wednesday 8 May – we can’t wait to see you for a FREE, hearty breakfast from 8am

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Paul Skelly, our dedicated kitchen volunteer, who will be lending his expertise from the Wild Kitchen at our Wembley campus to the Lo-Fi Larder at Maylands. Paul’s passion for cooking and commitment to our school community are truly commendable, and we are grateful for his invaluable contributions.

As we prepare to launch the Lo-Fi Larder, we invite our current students to join us in celebrating this exciting new chapter once open. Lo-Fi Larder promises to be more than just a food preparation space – it’s a hub of creativity, collaboration, and connection.
